Ree Ree’s 115th Dream

The cats woke me up at about 4:30 in the morning last night. Since they get fed dry food by the li’l woman at 4, I knew it was BS but I got up anyway just in case she fell asleep before they got fed. Sure enough, there were a few kibbles left. There was no chance I was going to feed them their 8 AM wet food before 7:30 AM at the earliest. That didn’t stop li’l Sugar from waking me up every 15 minutes with one of her time tested alarm clock waking methods. In between my being woken up I had the on going dream/nightmare that HEAD was playing a show. The show was half full (not unusual) and the people there were not really there to see us (also not unusual) but when I looked at the set list, I started laughing because I didn’t recognize any of the songs. The band and audience didn’t seem to be bothered by this which I guess is a good thing. In between waking up to deal with the cats wanting food I came back to the same dream. I looked at the set list and the only song I remember now being on it was one called BOGO. I said “BOGO? what the hell is BOGO?” I determined it must be some song about the consumer term “Buy One Get One”. By that time 7:30 rolled around and I felt the cats, and me, had had enough and I gave them their breakfast. It turned out the dry food was almost empty so li’l Sugar’s complaints about lack of food was legitimate. Don’t worry, I had another bag in the car and gave them each another scoop of dry food.

About HEAD'S HATE BLOG!

Hi. We're Head. How's it going? We're from Seattle. We've been kicking around the hardscrabble streets of Queen Anne Hill since 1990. Head consists of Ree Ree on Bass/Vocals, Touch on Guitar and Tulu on Drums. The Giggles was a full time member of the band up until 1999 when he got his head screwed on straight and went into the Head Army Reserves. We've put out several records on our imprint Evil Clown Records as well as records on Steve Priest Fan Club, Regal Select and Goner. We average about 3 or 4 shows a year. 2011 we played 2 shows. Looks like 2012 will be more than that. I'll believe it when I see it.
