OMG!!! Please come to our Sunday April 1st show at Devil’s Den – Salsomaggiore L@@K!

Well, I can find next to nothing on the club that we’ll be playing at but I can tell you this- Head loves salty water. And if you are looking for salty water, you need look no further than our good friends in Salsomaggiore, Italy. Due to its sodium content, the mineral water of Salsomaggiore belongs to the salty waters, done up just right in the bromo-iodine-salt variety. Nice! A hypertonic and cold water extracted from artesian wells, 800 to 1,200 meters deep, at temperature of 16°C and at a density of 16° on the Baumé scale, which I believe is equivalent to approximately 11 grams of salt per litre.

For all you Head fans who like it salty, this is the destination for you!

Come join us for a soak, won’t you? Don’t be shy. Afterwards you can come down to the Devil’s Den and see us play a set of traditional Ramones-clone music that the locals love so much.

We Dood It!

Kenny called in sick but we were able to finish 9-3.
Since we were feeling prideful, we decided to push on to 9-4. That didn’t work so well.

The countdown has begun!

It’s less than two weeks away from the first show in Italy. Please come check out one of our shows if you can. We’re bringing merch and the split 7″ with the Manges will be available as well. We hope to see you there!

Tonight we, along with Kenny the Gardener will attempt to finish SuperMarioBros Wii level 9-3. We’ve got the first and last coin but need to get the second one. Before we do that, we’ll need to catch up on Storage Wars Texas. As you can tell, we’ve got our work cut out for us. Check back at 3 AM for an update. Wish us luck!

Fillmore club

Marta Sui Tubi’s Cromatica Tour 2012-data Zero tour will be making a stop there (Ten Euros).

March 23rd is Brusco + Vito War dj hosted by Sun Wise Family.

If that wasn’t enough, make sure to stop by on March 24 when Motel Connection does a dj-set as part of their Pisti & PierFunk RECONNECT 2012 TOUR along with Residents electro-house DJ-SET. That is also ten euros.

Sleep plays there on May 17th. Go figure. I believe the sign of the reptile master. Sunbound space pod rising faster. (From Sleep’s Holy Mountain) When Head played SF in 1995, we stopped off at MRR HQ and shot the shit with Tim Yohannon. Giggles brought his brother Eric and his friend Joe who later became Golden Pig Electric Blues Band. Anyway, On the way down to SF, Giggles was playing Sleep’s Holy Mountain. When we went to MRR HQ, he found a copy of Sleep’s first 12 inch and when Giggles pulled it out, Tim seemed disgusted by it and told him to take it. I pulled out the Monks “black monk time” LP but wasn’t given the same offer.

I can’t believe we are going to miss this!

While researching where the McDonalds of Northern Italy and Austria are, I stumbled across this news. Leave it to the good people of Austria to beat us at our own game.

The McRibster sandwich!!!! Chomp! Unfortunately, it will be gone a week before we play Innsbruck.

For a limited time, McDonald’s locations in Austria are featuring the McRibster, a breaded, fried McRib that’s topped with pepper-jack cheese and bacon. With two sauces – a sweet chili and a honey mustard – the sandwich is garnished with lettuce and red onion. It’s only available until March 27th.
